Jeff Gets Madison
No, this isn't a report on a pre-season PIL 5A scrimmage. But the two time defending 5A State Champion Democrats (never mind 5A PIL champions) probably will fulfill that headline, along with a lot of others, in the coming season, after adding another weapon to their arsenal.
Stephen Madison, one of the top high school basketball players last year in southwest Washington, and rated a two star recruit by Scout.com, has transferred to Jefferson High School for his senior season, according to Madison's father.
Madison is a 6'6", 200 lb. wing player, who played for the Prairie Falcons out of Vancouver previously, and gives Jeff another a Division I caliber recruit to go along with Terrance Jones. Madison currently has scholarship offers from several schools, most notably Colorado State from the Mountain West Conference. Madison is also considering Big Sky teams Portland State and Eastern Washington, and the Pac-10's Washington State Cougars.
Madison played for the I-5 Elite AAU summer basketball team with Jones this summer.
