The South teams again flexed their muscles over their North rivals by winning 3 of the 5 games in the final day of action and 7/10 overall in the OACA All-Star basketball series. This time, the North won the 4A game after being blown out by 30+ points on the previous night and the 5A North team escaped with a narrow 2-point win.
The 2A game started off the day's action with the South getting revenge from the previous day's game with a narrow 92-90 victory. Knappa's Jesse Moreland again led all scorers with 19 points while pulling down 13 rebounds before fouling out. Portland Christian's Ryan Miller added 15 points and 12 rebounds while PC teammate Chris Workman tallied 14 points and 16 boards. De La Salle's Donta Harris chipped in 14 points and 3 assists while Enterprise's Trenton Neil spread the love around with 8 points, 5 assists and 5 boards.
The South did a much better job defending the North, forcing them to just 35% from the field while converting only slightly better at 39%. This time, it was the North shooting the 3's without success, hitting just 9 of 33 (27%). The South shot the 3-ball a lot less than on Friday, but still struggled, hitting just 4-16 (25%). The deciding factor was on the glass as the South pounded the boards getting 32 offensive rebounds and 28 second-chance points compared to the North's 15 and 9.
Oakland's Coleton Baker again led the North with 17 points and 5 boards. Western Mennonite's Lewis Menges had a great night shooting, going 5/6 from the field, 1/1 on 3's, and 4/5 from the line for 15 points. East Linn Christian's Kyle Kruesi added 15 and 5 boards and North Douglas' Cameron Derrick tallied 11 points, 4 boards, and 2 steals.

The 3A battle saw the South come out with victory again, this time by a 88-81 margin. The South, down by 1 at the half 45-44, built a huge 22-point lead 79-57, only to see the North come storming back to close out the game on a 24-9 run. It was too little, too late, though, as Cascade Christian's Scott Morse again led the South's charge with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Scott's 2-day total of 53 points was the most of any player in the series at any level. Also coming up big for the South were Harrisburg's Justin Smucker (14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists), Umatilla's Steven Williams (12 points and 4 steals), Santiam Christian's Cory DeKruyf (12 points, 7 rebounds) and Creswell's AJ Beltran (6 assists).
Both teams shot very well from behind the arc in the first half, with the South going 6-12 (50%) and the North hitting on 6-10 (60%). The hot touch faded, though, as the North struggled to hit just 1-10 in the 2nd half. The South fared a little better, hitting on 3-9.
Leading the North on the night was Sheridan's Niko Rentsch, who put up 17 points, 6 steals, and 3 assists. Valley Catholic's Chris Keifer helped out with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Dayton's Corbin Lorenzen and Clatskanie's Ethan Andrews both added 11 points.

In the 4A game, the North shook off the blowout from the night before and took charge in the 2nd half in their 82-75 victory. Cascade's Justin Lowder led all scorers with 21 points (5-10 from 3-point range) and pulled down 13 rebounds. He was helped out by league rival, Gladstone's Andy Applebee, who added 14 points, 4 boards, and 4 assists. Tillamook's duo of Blaine Kuehnert (12 points, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks) and Jason Wetzel (10 points, 4 rebounds) along with Sweet Home's Ryan Graville (5 points, 6 assists) also deserve mention.
The difference in this game appears to have been the 2nd half shooting. Both teams shot very well from behind the 3-point line all night, with the South going 6/9 (67%) and the North hitting 9/17 (53%). However, it was the North's 15/24 (63%) from the field in the 2nd half, compared to the South's 9/30 (30%) that allowed the North to put the game away.
The South was led by Sisters' Ross Erickson, who put up 18 points. Cottage Grove's David Black added 11 points and 9 rebounds, Henley's Austin Lesueur put up 9 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals, and Brookings-Harbor's Fred Corpening added 5 points and 8 rebounds.

Another nail-biter highlighted the 5A game as the North escaped with a 84-82 victory. Century's Cameron McCaffery again led the North, hitting for 27 points (9-10 on free throws), 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals. Also leading the North were St Helens' Taylor Webster (13 points, 4 assists), Hermiston's Luis Ortiz (10 points, 4 steals) and The Dalles-Wahtonka's Damian Telles (9 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks).
3-point shooting helped the North seal the victory as they hit 8-23 (35%) while the South hit just 3-12 (25%). The North's free throw shooting excelled yet again as they hit 18-23 (78%) while the South was respectable with it's 23-34 (68%).
The South was led by Thurston's Maddie Boehm (21 points and 4 rebounds) and Corvallis' Ben Olayinka (20 points, 8 rebonds). Also filling the stat sheet on the night were North Eugene's Kenny Dent (12 points and 7 rebounds), Mazama's Jordan Rose (8 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists), and Churchill's Jordan Myers (5 points and 6 assists).

The final game of the series saw the 6A South blow open a 40-40 halftime tie and cruise to a 93-71 victory over the North. Sprague's Brandon Blair put up the most points in any game of the 2-day series with his 28 point performance which featured 6-10 shooting from behind the arc. The South was also aided by Sheldon's Tyler Reynolds (21 points, 3 assits, 2 steals), Barlow's Robbie Nielsen (17 points, 6 assists, 7 steals) and Central Catholic's Damas Gakwasi (9 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals).
The South broke the game open with their torrid 2nd half shooting, hitting on 21-38 (55%) including 4/9 (44%) from 3-point range. The North, which had shot well in the first half hitting 42% overall and 50% (7-14) from 3-point range, went cold in the 2nd half. The North went 0-8 from 3-point range and managed only 14-40 (35%) overall in the 2nd half. Turnovers also killed the North on the evening. The South converted 21 North turnovers, including 18 steals) into 30 points while commiting only 9 turnovers themselves.
For the North, Wilson's Derrick Hayes led the way with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Newberg's Taylor Braun contributed 14 points and 5 rebounds, West Linn's Johnel Gray added 10 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals, and Franklin's Nick Kunis chipped pulled down 11 boards to go with 6 points.
