The OSAA football playoff brackets were posted at the start of the season, and are now becoming a regular topic of conversation at football stadiums across the state. Check our live links to get the latest on times and dates as the OSAA makes them official.
Triple headers of Championship games, Sat. Dec. 2 for 1A, 2A, & 3A, & Sat. Dec. 9 for 4A, 5A, & 6A, all at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.
In 6A, the Metro, Central Valley (Salem/Redmond), Mt. Hood, & 3 Rivers #1s get the 1st. round byes. The Mt. Hood gets the #5 team that gets in, and, with the PIL, get home games in round 1 for their #3s.
In 5A, the PIL #3 is the only #3 to travel the 1st. week, instead of being at home.
In 4A, the Valco gets the rotating 3rd. playoff spot this year, and the GOL gets only 2 spots. The GOL #2 gets a 1st. round bye, and opens at home. The Sky-Em & FarWest #2 teams get a home game in the 1st. round instead of a bye.
In 3A, the PacWest & West Valley #2s get the home games in the 1st. round.
In 2A, the Blue Mtn. #4 gets the extra, rotating berth, and the Blue Mtn., Tri-River, & Northwest #2s get the 1st. round home games.
In 1A, Special Districts 5 & 6 get the 1st. round home games for their #2 teams, the trade off for not getting a 3rd. team in.
(This page contains some typos; expect the OSAA to update it someday.)
