The Cascade Cougars secured a winning season for the first time since the 90's with a win that sent the Estacada Rangers to an 0-for-season year.
The Molalla Indians beat their neighbors, the North Marion Huskies, in a spirited game that was a great tuneup for the playoffs, and completed a 9 game run that makes the missed 2 pt. conversion in Astoria, who is still unbeaten, a lot bigger than it seemed at the time.
LaSalle's Falcons lost the battle of parochial raptors against the Santiam Christian Eagles, and more critically, may have had their star Chris Nagel's effectiveness go down due to a knee problem. Time will tell of the severity. Fortunately, the Falcons have 2 weeks to get ready to go fishing.

Meanwhile, Volleyball is already eliminating people, and over the weekend will set the fields for the tournaments on Veterans’ Day Weekend. Oregonprepsports will have live reports from the 4A/3A tournament at Lane Community College in Eugene, and the 2A/1A tournament from Pacific University in Forest Grove.
