Jack Singler Named ESPN HS Regional Player Of Week

Panther QB's Big Night Nets National Notice

South Medford quarterback Jack Singler completed 22 of 27 passes, for 424 yards and 5 touchdowns, in the Panthers' 42-14 win over Crater in last Friday night's Southwest Conference game at Spiegelberg Stadium. 13 of the completions were to Matt Retzlaff, for a South Medford record 256 yards, and 3 of the touchdowns.

As a result ESPN has named Singler their High School West Region Player of the week.

The win moved the Panthers (4-0, 2-0) up from 5th. place to 4th. in the 6a AP Poll, and kept South Medford in a tie for the Southwest Conference lead with top ranked Sheldon and Roseburg, both of whom are also undefeated.

Singler and the Panthers visit Roseburg this Friday.
