Perrydale pounds Country Christian, 52-6

The Perrydale Pirates quickly dispatched the Country Christian Cougars this last Friday night, 52 - 6.

The Pirates scored at will in the 1st half, as they built a 44-0 halftime lead.

In the 2nd half, Perrydale scored on the opening kickoff to make the score 52-0.
Country Christian scored a touchdown late in the second half to make the final score 52-6.

Props to Country Christian, as they only had 9 players on their roster, and in the second half, after an injury, only 8.
The Cougars played with heart to finish out the game, and they scored in the second half, with no subs available.

Despite the disadvantage in numbers, the Cougars never gave up and played hard for all four quarters.

However, in the end, Perrydale was just too much for the Cougars.

The loss dropped Country Christian to3-4, and 2-4 in district. eliminating the Cougars from post season contention. Perrydale improved to 8-1, and 5-1 in league. The Pirates can lock up Special District 1's second playoff seed with a win Friday at Falls City (4-3. 4-2).
