The still unbeaten St. Mary's  Blues claimed their second consecutive girls' state lacrosse championship Thursday night at the Tualatin Hills Parks and Recreation facility, defeating Lake Oswego (17-2) by a score of 16-10.

Both teams scored in the first 43 seconds, and the game was close for the first 12 minutes, but then the Blues took control.

Catherine Davidson and Sally Roberts combined for 13 goals for St. Mary's.
