Portland TV Channel KPTV 12 reported Tuesday (08/22) night that a graduate of Lincoln High school, Kraig Crow, died overnight Monday night. Portland Police reports he and his car were found in Gabriel park in southwest Portland Tuesday morning.
Crow was a member of the Lincoln Cardinal football team that came within a play of winning the 4A State Championship last fall.
Kraig Crow was planning on attending the University of Oregon this fall. He had attended a birthday party with his twin brother David, but after leaving, didn't arrive home on time, and was later found in the park.
Details are incomplete, and the investigation continues, but police report there were no signs of foul play.
Lincoln High School has advised a service will be held Friday, 08/25, at Trinity Episcopal Catherdral. The Lincoln team and staff will be there.
Trinity Episcopal Catherdral is located at 147 NW 19th. St. (19th. & Everett).
Full text of the Lincoln High School press release & letter sent to all Lincoln families:
It is with great sadness that I must inform you that one of our students who graduated this past June, Kraig Crow, died last night. We are all profoundly saddened by his death.
A "safe room" has been created in the counseling office conference room at Lincoln. This is a welcoming open space for students, staff, and parents to share memories of Kraig and to discuss their feelings. Counselors, coaches, and other support personnel have been, and will continue to be, available to students and parents on an ongoing basis.
Cards and notes are here on tables in the main hall for students and parents to sign.
Individual students may respond differently, depending on their age, the closeness of their relationship to Kraig and their former experience with grief. This is an important time to talk with and listen to our children. If you need support please call or stop by school to talk with one of our counselors.
There will be a memorial service this Friday, August 25th, at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 147 NW 19th. (& Everett)
Our hearts are with the Crow family.

Oregonprepsports thanks Fox News 12 for sharing their coverage. We also extend our condolences to Mr. Crow's family, all members of the Lincoln Cardinal "family".
Many friends and relatives attended the services on a beautiful summer day. So far, there are still no answers. Portland police are reportedly not investigating, as there are no signs of foul play. The Medical Examiner's office states it may take several weeks before toxicology results are received.
