If you click on a link to a sport (using the menu on the left side of the site), you will see two new links displayed.  One is for 2006 Ratings and the other is for Missing Scores.  Here is a brief summary of these new features.

Selecting Missing Scores will bring up a list of games that have been added to the site that were scheduled to have taken place in the past (including the current day's games) that either have no result posted or only the winning team has been posted (no score).  If you have information on these games, we would appreciate any help in posting the results to the site.   If the game has been cancelled or rescheduled, you can visit that school's schedule page and update the date/time or mark the "cancelled" field to indicate that the game will not be played.

Selecting 2006 Ratings will bring up a table that allows you to choose a classification and a rating to use to sort the teams.  A grid will then be displayed that shows a list of teams for that class and various stats and ratings information.  For more information on the computer ratings, I recommend that you visit the FAQ for that rating, which can be found on the ratings page or in the FAQ section of the site.  Please do not reproduce or publish the Colley ratings information without the consent of Mr. Colley himself.

The computer ratings should not be used as a definitive measure of a team's quality.  They are just formulas that try to gauge how well a team has performed when compared to its peers.  A matchup between two teams with a similar rating is likely to be a hard-fought battle, but that may not be the case.  These ratings do not factor in injuries, weather conditions, or any number of factors that may explain a team's past performance.  They are only provided as a guide to indicate which teams appear to be strong, those that appear in the middle, and those that appear to be weaker.

As always, if you have any suggestions for improvements to the site or new features you would like to see added, please let me know.  I am currently working on implementing a drop-down menu system for the site to help with navigation.
