The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and the
Oregon Athletic Officials (OAOA) have recognized seven Oregon sports
officials as NFHS/OAOA State Officials of the Year in their respective sports.

Honored officials, also OAOA members, are: 

Cal Fagan, Lane County Football
Alicia Provost, Greater Portland Volleyball
Gordon Hoffman, Metro West Wrestling
Dick Horner, Salem Soccer
Pat McMahon, Lane County Basketball
Brent Cunningham, Portland Baseball
Frank Schofield, Portland Softball

Additionally, the OSAA has selected the Salem Football Officials
Association as the OSAA/OAOA Association of the Year. This award is
given annually to an officiating association who has excelled in the
areas of recruitment, education and training, professionalism and
innovation.
