Kicking off the early morning itinerary, The Philomath Warriors, after losing last night to a strong, defensive Stayton team, 56-33, will try to recoup and earn the chance to play for the Consolation Trophy in tomorrows final day of play.

Having something to say about that will be the Hidden Valley Mustangs. Reeling from a grueling battle and loss against the Brookings-Harbor Bruins last night 45-38. They are hungry for an opportunity to redeem themselves and bring home some hardware.

Winner of this game advances to the Consolation Championship tomorrow at 10:45, they will play the winner of the next game between LaGrande and Phoenix. Loser of this game goes home.

A jumper by Philomath's Derek Davis to start the game gave Philomath their one and only lead of the game. Trailing and trying to find their groove, Hidden Valley answers to every attempt Philomath puts forth. Making a galiant effort in the 3rd quarter by outscoring HV 14-6 Philomath just couldn't keep the continuity going once the 4th quarter began. Hidden Valley had seen enough of Philomath's offense and shut them down allowing only 8, 4th quarter points for the Warriors.
