2018 Premature Playoff Predictions, Week 4

It's time for another season of Premature Playoff Predictions. North Marion Back To Tri-Valley Hungry

Upon hearing the news that North Marion would be moving back into The Tri-Valley Conference in 2018, if one thought had to come to mind for anyone associated with The Husky Program, it would have to have been the reunification between The Huskies, and a very proud and prestigious Estacada Lady Rangers Volleyball Program.

That sentiment would be apt based on the fact that The Rangers bring a high quality reputation in not only the league, but at the entire 4A Classification. Although there are still a couple of matches to be played before we finish the first round of league play, four teams seem to have started to seperate themselves from Molalla and Gladstone, in a race for the top spots in the conference.

North Marion Lady Huskies (8-3/3-0 OSAA # 15)- North Marion is playing very well together right now, and the result has them sitting in the pole position at this point maybe still riding off the high of an amazing three set sweep of The Lady Rangers of Estacada on September 25th. Tonight they simply went out and dominated Gladstone on the road in three sets(25-8, 25-10, 25-16), to set up a huge home showdown with Corbett out in Aurora Tuesday October 2nd. If The Huskies win this one, they will be all alone in on top of The Tri-Valley standings through round one, providing they take care of business vs Molalla two days later.
Estacada Lady Rangers (8-4/3-1 OSAA # 11)- Although surely that three set sweep loss at the hands of The Huskies, had to sting but this program still has it's eyes on the conference crown when all is said and done. The program simply knows no other way to roll. A three set sweep of The Corbett Lady Cardinal tonight on the road, keeps the Rangers right on The Huskies tail in the battle for the top spot, as we enter the last couple matches of the first round.
Corbett Lady Cardinal (9-3/3-1 OSAA # 14)- Corbett has a HUGE match coming up early next week, it can't be no secret. The Lady Cardinal in one match, could go from a tie for first, to all alone in third place when they travel to North Marion to face The Huskies on the 2nd. If they were to pull off a win, this league would be jammed at the top with NM, Estacada, and Corbett. No time to cry on the three set loss to The Rangers tonight, you want back in, it's waiting for you at North Marion if The Huskies allow it.
Madras Lady White Buffalo (6-5/2-2 OSAA # 24)- Madras is still in it for now, but those two league wins come via victory over two teams that have yet to win a league match. Molalla stands at 1-9/0-3, and Gladstone is now 0-11/0-3. Madras has dropped matches to both Corbett and North Marion previously, and if they hope to deal themselves back into the race, they will have to knock off Estacada on the 2nd, even as early as this is.
